Do I really need the Danyel sponges?+
We recommend them. Our sponges are made specifically for our cream compact foundation, so it blends smoothly and evenly without streaks. Use them damp for a lighter, natural finish, or dry for fuller coverage.
Can I wash and reuse my sponge?+
Please don't. Sponge pores are so small that soap gets trapped inside, no matter how well you rinse. Almost every reaction we've seen to our foundation came from sponges washed with dish soap, hand soap, or even bleach. Replace your sponge regularly instead. That's why they come in a pack of 3.
How do I clean my brushes?+
Wash them with our Collagen Facial Cleansing Gel. It deep cleans any brush, ours or any brand, and rinses out completely with no residue to irritate your skin. Rinse well and lay flat to dry.
Which tools do I need to start?+
If you only get one thing, get the foundation sponges. They make the biggest difference in how your foundation looks. From there, a powder brush and a blush brush cover most everyday looks.
